About Us

Fountain Worship Center is a ministry that was founded in July 1996 by Pastor Eddie L. Jones Sr, alongside his wife Lady Zelda Jones, and their four sons. Formally “Fountain Tabernacle C.O.G.I.C”, it was renamed to “Fountain Worship Center” in 2015.
 
We exist for a three-fold purpose which includes; continuing the mission of Jesus Christ to seek and save the lost (Matthew 28: 19-20), to nurture the believer resulting in strong followers of Christ and to guide/equip the members of this body in discovering their place in ministry that they may ultimately continue the Great Commission throughout the world.
 
To accomplish this we focus our worship, our preaching, our teaching, our fellowship, and church outreach toward saving, nurturing, guiding, and equipping our members to achieve their full potential in living by faith, walking in obedience, and continuing the Great Commission. We stand rooted and grounded in faith and obedience and we continue to minister to families and communities in, around, and outside the Metro Detroit Area.

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written word of God.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ, and accepting the gospel according to Romans 10: 9-10.

We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ, on the cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe in the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Ghost, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in this present world.
